Position:
CityReach Care Society (the urban outreach subsidiary of Broadway
Church) is seeking an individual for the full-time position of Food For Families Program Coordinator.
Description:
The Food For Families Program Coordinator will assist the Program
Manager to plan, organize and implement the various food-related services
offered in the Food For Families program consistent with the core values of
Broadway Church, in conjunction with CityReach Care Society’s vision and
mission statement.
Skills required:
- Knowledge
and understanding of issues related to poverty, food security, non-profit
programs, social service resources, and managing volunteers
- -Strong
social skills for interacting with individuals from culturally and
socio-economic diversity
- -Physically
fit and able to lift heavy boxes and objects for food distribution
- -Valid
BC Driver’s License and ability to drive large cube van
Compensation: Monday
– Friday – 35 hours per week – Salary based on experience with full benefit
package.
